Ann Boyer is the great grand niece of Henry Gray and has written two chapters of the books on his childhood, family and formative years. Ann’s taste for genealogy was fostered in childhood by her grandmother, Eva Esther Gray Ivens, Henry Gray’s youngest sister, from whom she received a first hand account of past events. As the current depositary of the Gray family archives, she has unique insight into areas of Henry Gray’s personal life.
